The following
is our policy on accepting customer rejections, for parts you receive
either damaged or incorrectly finished.
1. PARTS
RETURNED FOR INCORRECT FINISHING
We will rework
any order we finish incorrectly at our cost when we are at fault.
Every day we call customers to clarify finishing questions, but we
can make mistakes.
If your parts
have threads or splines, we cannot accept a rejection tag
if
we did not receive gauges with the original order. Plating builds up
on these features at different rates, and we cannot guarantee
accurate plating on them without gauges.
2. PARTS
RECEIVED DAMAGED FROM PRO-COAT
If you receive
a finished order that has been nicked or dinged, please return it so
we can assess the damage before you repair it. If we are at
fault, we may want to advise you on how to repair the order so we
can best refinish it.
If you must
rework discrepant parts immediately because of a deadline, please
contact our Quality
Assurance Department first to discuss the problem.
3. RECEIVING
INSPECTION POLICY
It's our
policy to notify customers of count discrepancies and part damage
found during our Receiving Inspection. Normally, we take responsibility
for nicks and dings discovered later in processing.
We do expect
our customers to send us undamaged parts. Please take special care
in packaging and shipping , since that is where the most problems
arise.
4. SCRAPPED
PARTS
If we are to
buy parts as scrap, they
must be returned to us.
5. CONTACT
US Quality@protectivecoatingsinc.com
Please
contact us right away concerning any discrepant order. We will do
our best to answer your questions and expedite the necessary rework.
We understand how important it is to meet our customers' schedules,
and will make every effort to do so.
